Project Details
My Mamma created the original 'Cove' in my childhood bedroom for my brother and me to connect beneath a lofted bed. It was safe, cozy, cute, welcoming, and held many memories for me.
Today, The Cove has manifested itself similarly as a space for connection and creativity. In an intimate 650 sq ft studio in Dumbo, I host wellness events such as:
Reiki
Sound baths
Yoga concerts
Paint and sips
Improv Classes
Workshops
Weekend Hackathons
Evening Open Mics
Private rentals
This has been my passion project to create an experimental space for community builders to connect and gather. I manage all aspects of the space and hold the lease - and I manage members and volunteers to keep it running!
